Throughout the 40s and 50s KORE continued to play a key role in the Eugene/Springfield area. As the 60s rolled around things began to change. Glen Stadler became the owner and the format changed to talk radio. In 1966 KORE moved from its location on 26th and Willamette.

KEED had their studio in the 1950s at 2080 Laura Street in Springfield. KEED brought the age of Rock-n-Roll to Eugene/Springfield. KORE wanted the KEED studio as their new home and offered their building on 26th and Willamette in exchange. KEED agreed to the exchange of locations.

In 1970 KORE was sold to Jim Norwood and his son Ron. They changed the format from talk to Country. Three years later (1973) they changed it to a Christian format. Later that year the Norwood’s sold the station to Eldon Knight. On December 1st 1979, KORE was sold to Intercontinental Ministries. Later in 1987, “Support Christian Broadcasting” acquired the station. KORE remains under SCB ownership to this present date as a non-profit corporation.

The station began to grow in quality. They had all the top National Christian programs and some great local features as well
